KloorStudio runs kloor.eu and KloorLauncher, and uses a limited set of data to operate, secure and improve them. This policy explains what is stored, why it is needed and the choices available to you.

We take security seriously. Your password is never stored in plain text.

1. What we store

Only information required for the features you choose to use is kept by the Kloor service.

Data categoriesWhat is storedPurposeRetention
Account and service dataAccount details, the Discord username you register with, linked Minecraft and Discord identity, preferences, social and cloud data, credits and cosmetics.Account access, recognising tester applicants and reaching them about testing, synchronization and requested features.Until deletion or required safety retention
Security and recoverySessions, temporary access tokens, recovery tokens and IP-derived abuse keys.Authentication, account recovery and abuse prevention.Logout, expiry or cleanup
Usage metricsDownload deduplication keys and aggregate download and website usage counts.Count downloads, find broken pages and improve device support.Keys: 30 days; daily totals: 90 days; aggregates remain
Enquiries and ordersThe name, email address, topic and message you send through the KloorStudio contact form. The form emails them to support@kloor.eu; the website keeps no copy. To limit abuse it keeps a keyed hash of your connection's IP address and the time you sent, never the address itself. For an agreed order: the quote, the files you send and the invoice.Reply to you and agree an order or project you ask about.Email: while your enquiry or project needs it; invoices: 7 years; limit record: removed once it is an hour old, when the form is next used

2. How we use data

Data provides requested launcher, account, social, cloud and shop features; verifies Minecraft ownership; prevents fraud; investigates errors; and protects the service. Personal data is not sold.

3. Retention

Metric windows and account data have different retention rules. Expiry prevents reuse of recovery tokens, but several token, moderation and error-history categories do not yet have an automatic deletion schedule. Chat cleanup runs daily while the API operates; restarts can delay physical deletion. To remove your account and its data, delete it on the Account data page or in Launcher Settings; write to support@kloor.eu for anything the deletion does not remove.

4. Your controls

You may request access, correction, export or deletion and withdraw optional consent. Signed in, you can download a copy of your account data and delete your account yourself, on the website or in the launcher: export your data or delete your account on the Account data page, or use Launcher Settings. The export leaves out password and token hashes, other people's private content, moderation and audit records and, for now, the Discord username you registered with. An export larger than 32 MB cannot yet be downloaded on the website; use Launcher Settings or write to support@kloor.eu for it. For what the export leaves out, and anything else these controls do not cover, write to support@kloor.eu.
